Fiber Blends: Polyester and Nomex. Applications include:

Dual-Density- multi-section, long-life filter

A true dual-density filter. The first filter section is open, springy, and resilient with high denier and low density. The second filter section contrasts by being thin, stiff, rigid, and dense, with fine denier. Together, they make a high-depth-loading, long-life filter perfect for automotive carbon canisters. This material is also excellent for vacuum cleaners, furnace and air-conditioner filters, and pleated filters.

Filter Section 1:

Filter 11 - super-effective light-weight filter

Filter 12 - innovative vapor neutralizing filter

Stops odors by neutralizing harmful vapors. This innovative filter is extremely effective on formaldehyde, a potential carcinogen found in hospitals and laboratories.

Product features:

  • Formalydehyde and aldehyde vapors are chemically neutralized when air passes through filter
  • Formalin solutionsare chemically neutralized and retained in medium
  • Patented fiber is durable and resists tearing, even when saturated
  • Incineration of filter is clean and efficient, with reduced threat of exposure

Filter 16 - lightweight pre-filter with enhanced efficiency

An improved lightweight filter material that is especially effective for pre-filter applications. The supported needlepunched fabric has enhanced filtering efficiency over other lightweight nonwovens. Treatments offered for this filter include both singed and glazed. Glazed products will have higher depth loading capacity compared to unsupported nonwovens. In addition to pre-filters, Filter 16 is also designed for composite components, coolant filters, and dust control.

T-Filter 17 - an excellent chemical resistant filter media

Made with 100% PPS fibers supported by a woven pps scrim. Provides optimum reinforcement with increased modulus. This filter media is ideal for applications involving exposure to continuous temperatures of 375บ F or less, oxygen content of 15% or less, with sulfur compounds and/or moisture present in the atmosphere. This type of environment can be found in coal fuel boilers, waste incinerators, coal fluid power generators, and biomass incinerators.

  • Polyphenylene sulfide (pps) fiber has excellent chemical resistance against most acids, alkalis, and organic solvents
  • Fabric will not burn
  • Improved gamma and neutron radiation resistance over conventional synthetic fibers

Filter 26 - UV stable for automotive interiors

This is ideal for automotive applications, meeting strict automotive standards for flame retardancy and U.V. stability. This specialized filter has uniform thickness and is constructed using a three-dimensional needling process that provides an extremely soft surface with excellent fiber entanglement. These innovative methods enable enhanced depth loading for superior filtration.

Filter 29 and 30 - low-density/ high-loft with no latex binder

This filter media features a high loft needlepunch nonwoven containing no latex binder that is a recyclable green product.

Filter 31 - Prefilter for automotive cabin air filters

This filter material meets the requirements for Daimler Chrysler MS-LE8-11 Type 3 filter media. Itl has a high permeability, meets FMVSS 302 flame resistance, is 100% recyclable and is moldable.

Filter 32 - Prefilter for air and carbon canister filters

A medium density chemically-enhanced stiff resilient polyester nonwoven engineered as a prefilter for cabin air filters and carbon canister filters. It is moldable, meets FMVSS 302 flammability requirements, has a high permeability, and is recyclable. This material has sufficient stiffness and flexibility so a screen is not required for support. Can be exposed to gas without loss of physical attributes.

Filter 33 - Highly entangled, filters water from jet fuel

This material will create a gel block when exposed to water that will create excessive back-pressure to prevent the contaminated fuel from entering critical fuel tanks. The material is designed to handle flow rates of thirty gallons per minute. The material also filters particles such as surfactants, micro organisms, and solids. The final filter assembly conforms to the Institute of Petroleum AlP IP 1583 (4th edition) specifications.

Filter 34 - Highly engineered for jet fuel filtering

This filter media prevents any gel from entering the down-stream flow of fuel. The material will create a gel block when exposed to water that will create excessive back pressure to prevent the contaminated fuel from entering critical fuel tanks. The material is designed to handle flow rates of thirty gallons per minute. The material also filters particles such as surfactants, micro organisms, and solids. The final filter assembly conforms to the Institute of Petroleum AlP IF 1583 (4th edition) specifications.

TRNP 71 - highly technical liquid-filtration media

An advanced cylinder filter for liquid-filtration media. When cartridge core applications require high-temperature curing, such as core wrapping, this is the filter medium of choice.

VYL009 - lightweight, needlepunched pre-filter

An ultra-lightweight supported product with increased loft. This needlepunched prefilter is designed as an alternative to spunbond polyester nonwovens. Engineered to provide high permeable fabrics with uniform coverage and increased strength from the scrim, and thickness for added depth loading capabilities. Use this material for pre-filter wraps and multiple layered composite components.
