Jennifer Heynen

It all started at age 4, when Jennifer received a child’s Sew Perfect Sewing Machine. Her grandmother gave her a stack of upholstery fabric samples, and Jennifer jumped right in to sewing. Working in graphic design and as a quilting/crafts teacher helped Ellen create patterns that are easy to understand. She started her business as a quilt design company and worked in felt and embroidery for fun but people started seeing her original designs and wanted patterns and an entirely new part of her business was born! Ellen has a love for travel that has taken her all around the world and she brings the inspiration she receives from her journeys to her designs. She is inspired by the folk art she sees, especially the designs of her European roots.
